Organised at the Grand Palais éphémère, from 7 to 10 February 2022, by the Réunion des musées nationaux - Grand Palais, Ensad Paris and ANdEA as part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During four days, 400 students from French and European art schools (art, design, cinema, theatre and music) are invited to get together to reflect upon and invent forms that represent the continent they inhabit. To explore these questions, students from each French school will work with those from a European school they have invited to this joint project. Thirty five art schools in Europe (French and European) will thus participate in Eurofabrique, along with a "36th school" created for the occasion, bringing together refugee students, in connection with the Programme Etudiants Invités (PEI) and artists in exile present in French art schools thanks to Pause.
In groups, students will prepare and present projects that question the values, problems and debates of today's Europe. The forms will be numerous and will range from performance to sculpture, passing by textile design, drawing and sound. The topics will consider European identity such as language, ecology, the question of borders or folklore.
